Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, Nutrition and Food (BSc)
This accredited degree prepares you to transform practice and lives through helping Canadians to meet their nutrition needs. Your education in nutrition, science, research and communications – in addition to advanced study opportunities in gerontology, Indigenous studies and other areas – will equip you with the knowledge and skills that will help you become an expert in your chosen field.

Masters in Dietetics and Nutrition Coaching at Humber
The masters of nutrition coaching at Humber is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on providing practical guidance to clients who have health and lifestyle challenges and empowering them to achieve their nutritional goals. You’ll learn to assess client needs and develop a nutrition coaching plan, which is used to help clients achieve their desired results.
In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about a global culture through experiential learning trips to the Mediterranean and Italy. You’ll also gain hands-on knowledge of a healthy Mediterranean diet and lifestyle, and participate in service learning projects that contribute to the local community.
Accredited by the Partnership for Dietetic Education and Practice, this program prepares you for a future career in dietitian practice. It’s recognized by many professional associations and organizations, including the Canadian Dietetic Association, the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Ontario Family Studies Home Economics Educators Association and the Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology.
You’ll get hands-on experience with a range of different foods and kitchen equipment to help you learn to cook and plan nutritious meals. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your leadership and managerial skills as you complete two five-week placements with local partners in the foodservice industry.
